ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 30 April 2025
The Annual General Meeting for all members will be held on Wednesday 30 April 2025. Doors open from 7pm Meeting to start at 7.30pm in the Members Pavilion, North Field, N20.
Duration expected to be two hours. Committee Members are asked to attend from 6.45pm to help set out seating, refreshments etc.
All Members of Brook Farm and Stanhope Road Allotments are encouraged to attend. As a member you can submit items for discussion at the AGM. We welcome plot holder’s proposals, suggestions including constructive criticism.
Tom Thorne, Hon Secretary and Remo Bardetti, North Field Plot Steward will retire on rotation at the AGM in line with the Constitution. The Committee are keen to hear of any volunteers to fill these extremely important positions.
Please let the Secretary or any Committee Member know by midday 23 April 2025.

Members only Field Meetings at both North Field (Pavilion) 11am and at South Field (Trading Hut) 1pm. Stanhope Road Allotments Sunday 8 June at 11am. An opportunity to question the Committee and raise field issues.

BROOK FARM ALLOTMENTS
OPEN DAY

Saturday 19 July 2025. Brook Farm Open Day - South Field
The Allotments will be open from 11am to 4pm and allow our neighbours, friends, and the public to come along and see what allotment gardening all is about. Everyone likes to have a ‘look at other’s efforts’
Note:- it would be good to pot up some extra plants for us to have ready for sale at this time. Events will be centred at South Field.
Entry to the allotments is free with donations going to a local charity. We will again finish the day with a members only bbq between2pm to 6pm. Volunteers to help set up on Friday and during Saturday welcome.
AUTUMN PRODUCE SHOW

Members Pavilion North Field
This is our own local show which has become a regular feature and is especially designed for all members here at Brook Farm. We will set up the tables, tents etc on Friday 12 September with entries accepted from 9.30am to midday on Saturday 13 September. Judging will take place between midday and 2pm followed by results announced by 4pm. Our own bbq will again be brought into use together with refreshments. Members are encouraged to make a full day of it with family and friends. Volunteers are asked to lend a hand with setting up, during the day and in clearing up!

Wednesday 15 October. Committee Meeting 7pm North Field.
Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 October. Work Party weekend. 11am to 1pm. Check Field Notice Boards for any date changes.

PRIZE GIVING – BONFIRE - FIREWORKS
Sunday 2 November. 4pm – 8pm Prizegiving Evening.
Cups & trophies will be awarded to Brook Farm Members together with certificates from the Produce Show.
Bonfire, with restricted Fireworks and BBQ will be held on North Field. Members and their families and friends are encouraged to come along to enjoy the late afternoon and early evening Prizegiving.
Sunday 7 December. Main Water Supply turned off. System to be drained.
Tuesday 16 December. Christmas Evening Meal, local venue - 7pm.
Sunday 14 December. Trading Hut closes for Christmas & New Year.
