BROOK FARM ALLOTMENTS OPEN DAY
Friday 18 July. Preparation Brook Farm Open Day. Set out Open Day from 4pm.
Saturday 19 July 2025. Brook Farm Open Day - South Field
The Allotments will be open from 11am to 4pm and allow our neighbours, friends, and the public to come along and see what allotment gardening all is about. Everyone likes to have a ‘look at other’s efforts’
Note:- it would be good to pot up some extra plants for us to have ready for sale at this time. Events will be centred at South Field.
Entry to the allotments is free with donations going to a local charity. We will again finish the day with a members only bbq between2pm to 6pm. Volunteers to help set up on Friday and during Saturday welcome.
AUTUMN PRODUCE SHOW

Members Pavilion North Field
This is our own local show which has become a regular feature and is especially designed for all members here at Brook Farm. We will set up the tables, tents etc on Friday 12 September with entries accepted from 9.30am to midday on Saturday 13 September. Judging will take place between midday and 2pm followed by results announced by 4pm. Our own bbq will again be brought into use together with refreshments. Members are encouraged to make a full day of it with family and friends. Volunteers are asked to lend a hand with setting up, during the day and in clearing up!
Wednesday 8 October. Plot Inspection North Field 11am, South Field 1pm.
Thursday 9 October. Stanhope Road Allotment 11am.
Wednesday 15 October. Committee Meeting 7pm North Field.
Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 October. Work Party weekend. 11am to 1pm. Check Field Notice Boards for any date changes.
Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 October. Work Party Weekend. 11am to 1pm Check Field Notice Boards for any date changes.
PRIZE GIVING – BONFIRE - FIREWORKS
Sunday 2 November. 4pm – 8pm Prizegiving Evening.
Cups & trophies will be awarded to Brook Farm Members together with certificates from the Produce Show.
Bonfire, with restricted Fireworks and BBQ will be held on North Field. Members and their families and friends are encouraged to come along to enjoy the late afternoon and early evening Prizegiving.
Sunday 7 December. Main Water Supply turned off. System to be drained.
Tuesday 16 December. Christmas Evening Meal, local venue - 7pm.
Sunday 14 December. Trading Hut closes for Christmas & New Year.
